Julie Ferraro co-founded Juno Technologies in 2002 and served as President & CEO prior to her current role as Vice President, Naval Systems Architecture
Julie brings more than 20-years of experience in delivering innovative solutions to support the U.S. Navy. In her current role of Vice President, Naval Systems Architecture, she oversees a team of experts committed to providing IT engineering, systems integration, software development and technical support to the U.S. Navy.
Prior to joining Sigma Defense, Julie was the President and CEO of Juno Technologies, which she co-founded in 2002. There, she led the strategic direction of the company with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to boost performance and increase efficiencies to maintain the U.S. Navy’s largest and most critical networks. Under her leadership, Juno addressed the ever-changing complexities of the maritime environment, resulting in reduced costs and improved usability and consistency for the customer. Her engineering expertise is tied to numerous cutting-edge software development and system solutions for CANES (Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services), CENTRIXS (Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System) and most recently on ZOE (Zumwalt Operating Environment). Prior to starting Juno Technologies, Julie held numerous roles supporting the U.S. Navy for over 10-years with Delfin Systems.
Julie is recognized throughout the industry for her ‘find a way’ attitude and solution-based thought process that helped grow Juno Technologies into a 50-person company when it was acquired by Sigma Defense in 2024. Her vision, leadership and solution-driven approach has been instrumental throughout her career as she worked closely with NAVWAR to implement innovative solutions that resolved complex issues, drove new efficiencies, and reduced costs across a dynamic environment that included the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard and Network Operating Centers.
Julie holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of California San Diego (UCSD). She enjoys running and playing tennis in her limited spare time where she resides in Boerne, TX.
