Mark Reese
Mark Reese brings more than 30-years’ experience in systems analysis, business systems and program and project management to Sigma Defense.
Mr. Resse’s diverse experiences across the technical, program management, and corporate management domains are critical in his role at Sigma Defense as the EVP of EWA GSI, where he oversees contracts related to development and delivery of Open-Air Range (OAR) and laboratory threat simulators; radars, Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) sensors, and jammers; and electronic warfare (EW) training solutions.
Mark joined Sigma Defense in April 2024 through the acquisition of EWA, Inc, where he also served as Chief Operating Officer and President of the EWA Government Systems, Inc (EWA GSI) subsidiary. He was responsible for corporate growth strategies and process improvements, expanding GSI’s customer base, and developing new technologies to support the Warfighter. Prior to EWA, Mark worked at a defense startup, assisting in business operations, business development, and serving as the program manager for Cybersecurity Engineering/Threat Hunting supporting the Missile Defense Agency. He has worked in various positions for both small and large defense contractors, after serving on active duty in the Army for 11 years.
Mark received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and economics from Washington and Jefferson College, his master’s in physics from Carnegie Mellon University, and his Doctorate in Information Systems from Robert Morris University. Mark currently resides Ashburn, VA with his wife and enjoys spending time with his 4 grandchildren. He also enjoys running, cycling, and teaching management courses for the MBA program at Seton Hill University.
